My Approach to Helping
I help people to move forward in their lives. That could mean coping with severe symptoms or getting through a temporarily difficult situation. Each person is unique with different stories, needs, challenges as well as different ways of healing and growing. Through a process of self examination, I help you understand why you are thinking, behaving and feeling in certain ways. At the same time, I work with you to develop positive ways of being, exploring your positive strengths and qualities for more fulfilling relationship, health and work.
I work with locals and expatriate clients. My mental health work experience includes working as a therapist with university students and adults in private organisations, as well as single women in a substance abuse addiction recovery centre. Prior to becoming a counsellor, I worked in the fields of human resource and market research.
