World Mental Health Day 2020

Free info cards download.

As we reflect on this year and all that has come and gone, COVID-19 has likely taken an enormous toll on your life, and on your physical and mental health, whether you’re aware of it or not. We can’t help but think about every person dealing with a wave of new emotions they are struggling to process and don’t know how to navigate. Grief, loss, hopelessness, loneliness, feeling emotionally numb, or sadness comes and goes or lingers heavily without any sense of relief.  We think of those who don’t know how to ask for help, and so desperately need it.

Whether you’re a clinician or interested in mental health – please use these cards freely to share these important mental health statistics with your communities. Little by little, together we can reduce the stigma of mental illness, as well as finding treatment for it.

Information gathered from GoodTherapy, the CDC, NAMI, and NIMH.

I cant thank you enough for this, on one end this article is alarming and eye opening..70% of kids in the juvenile justice system suffering from mental illness? An average 11 yr window between symptoms and treatment? This just shows we still don’t take mental health nearly as seriously as we should. Your doing an awesome job countering that by bringing awareness. But if anyone should take one thing out of this, I feel it’s the mental health warning signs. really made me take a moment to self reflect.
