My Approach to Helping
I help people to break out of patterns from the past, work through painful emotional experiences, find clarity, and create meaningful change in their lives. Issues I work with include anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, insomnia, anger and stress management, trauma, childhood adversities, grief & loss, and many other life challenges. I also often work with people who are seeking greater meaning in their lives or confronting existential issues. Our work will empower you to grow, understand yourself more deeply, and live a more fulfilling and resilient life.
I offer a space in which you will be accepted as you are and where all parts of you are welcome. My relational style is warm, engaged, and grounded. I draw upon somatic and attachment-based trauma therapy approaches, as well as Internal Family Systems (parts work) and Jungian perspectives. I believe you are the expert on your life and I offer personalized therapy that is respectful, flexible, and tuned in to your needs.
Engaging in therapy is a powerful opportunity to bring awareness to the parts of you that have remained unexamined or that have not been safe to process in your everyday life. I will work with you to bring release to the places you feel stuck, tend to the wounds you carry, and move toward a more connected, intentional, and meaningful life.
