Most clinicians have never heard of Sociometry or Doubling, yet these two Psychodrama tools can profoundly change the depth and effectiveness of clinical work, whether it’s with an individual, couple, family, or group.
In this two-hour continuing education web conference, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board-Certified Psychodramatist and Sociometrist Jean Campbell will show clinicians how to use psychodramatic and sociometric exercises to help clients engage more fully in the therapeutic process, to assess clients, and create treatment plans in an interactive way.
Jean will explore the psychodramatic technique of doubling, which provides clinicians with the skills to help clients better tune into their thoughts and feelings, feel more understood, and increase co-regulation in the therapeutic relationship.

Jean Campbell, LCSW, CET III, TEP is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board-Certified Trainer, Educator, and Practitioner of Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy. Jean is also a Trainer and Practitioner of Psychodramatic Bodywork®, an intermediate level practitioner-in-training of Somatic Experiencing®, and a graduate of the Wholebeing Institute Certificate in Positive Psychology.
Jean received her master's degree in social work from Fordham University and trained at the Psychodrama Training Institute of New York. She is the former Family Program Director at Inter-Care in New York and the former Clinical Director of Clearview Treatment in Los Angeles. She has worked in the behavioral health field for more than 23 years.
Jean is the President Emeritus of the Women's Association of Addiction Treatment and a Fellow of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama. Jean has trained clinicians on a national and international level. As Director of the Action Institute of California, she provides Leadership Workshops, Psychodrama and Sociometry Training, and uses action methods in businesses, medical, and mental health settings to effect change on a body, mind, and spiritual level.
