My Approach to Helping
I am a Christian-licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in working with individuals, couples, families, and geriatrics. I completed my graduate degree from Western Seminary with internships in private practice, county mental health, and various agencies/ministries. I have over twenty years of experience working with people in the counseling profession. I work with anxiety phobias, depression, anger, grief and loss, marital and couple issues, addictions, and career issues. I have an egg-lectic therapeutic approach, using what seems to work best for the individual client. Mostly CBT, narrative, family systems, solution-focused are the models I use. On a personal note, I love animals and music. I have been a pianist for many years.
