My Approach to Helping

*I will providing telehealth services via the phone an Zoom over the next several months. Please reach out if you are interested in additional information.

I work primarily with men on issues including, anxiety, depression, addictions, parenting, relationships, and problem solving. I also specialize in working with teenage boys. I often use sports analogies and lessons to address issues such as self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and school performance. In addition to working with adults and teenagers, I work with couples focusing on conflict resolution, effective communication, intimacy, parenting and other life transitions.

What makes me unique as a therapist is my eclectic style of therapy. I use many traditional methods of therapy (i.e. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) but also bring life coaching skills, spirituality and personal life experiences to help my clients get the most out of life. I have formed several groups including groups on divorce, emotional sobriety, and a group for mothers of teenage boys.

No matter how smart or educated you are, you cannot always see how to get past what stops you. I believe it takes tremendous courage to reach out for help. My more than ten years of experience as a life coach and therapist has me assist clients to not just look at what has happened in the past, but also examine what steps can be taken today to move them toward their goals
