My Approach to Helping
Life often presents certain challenges, whether it involves a recent adjustment or a significant life stressor. As we become busier and encounter more pressures and demands, it can be increasingly difficult to manage our emotions alone, which can begin to have a negative impact on our lives. Through a collaborative, insight-oriented, and compassionate environment, Dr. Matthew Diner provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of symptoms and disorders.
Dr. Matthew Diner has postdoctoral and advanced clinical training from the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR) and the New York Psychoanalytic Society and institute (NYPSI). He specializes in working with children, adolescents, and parents in psychotherapy for a wide range of childhood emotional disturbances and challenges.
For clients with immigration matters, Dr. Matthew Diner also provides expert evaluation in conducting psychological evaluations for immigration hardships cases (Asylum, Hardship, and VAWA) which can be used as supportive evidence for an immigration petition.
