My Approach to Helping

You’ve always felt different. You think about things more deeply than most people, you seem to feel things more deeply too. Often you find yourself appeasing others at your own expense because the idea of confrontation and asserting yourself feels so overwhelming. You hold yourself to really high standards and constantly compare yourself to others. In fact, you’ve gotten so used to being what other people want you to be that you aren’t even sure who you are anymore. You’re tired of basing your self-worth on external validation and tired of struggling so much to speak up for your own needs. I see you, and I can help you.

How nice would it be to not feel anxious all the time?... To feel truly self-confident?... To set healthy boundaries with your parents, your partner, your boss, and your friends with ease? To have a deep sense of self-acceptance, self-compassion, and self-trust?

I help highly sensitive, empathic adults feel comfortable in their own skin. You'll become an expert on how to set boundaries, access your center, and assert your truest self. My specialties are anxiety, self-esteem, childhood trauma, and healing from toxic relationships and narcissistic abuse. Book a free consultation through my website to get started!

More Info About My Practice

Along with being a therapist, I'm a Professional Astrologer and tarot reader.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

It's time to do away with outdated, limiting stigmas attached to seeking out therapy! I work best with clients who view therapy as an ongoing form of self-care and an investment in their future self. Part of being human is having feelings, and we all needing a safe, nonjudgmental space to process those feelings, as well as explore who we really are, and what we really want and need. My practice is based on the following guiding principles:

- The key to your health and healing lies within you.
- Healing happens in relationship.
- We are each on our own unique soul path.
- There is a brilliant sanity in all "dysfunction."
- Healing happens in the here-and-now.
- Social justice issues are therapeutic issues.

Groups I Work With

I work primarily with empathic women who struggle with anxiety and low self-esteem. Most of them also come from dysfunctional families and have experienced toxic relationships andor narcissistic abuse.

I help them heal their trauma and feel comfortable and confident in their own skin again (or, perhaps, for the first time).

I’m also a professional astrologer and tarot reader. These non-clinical modes of working with the self are equally as powerful as evidence-based modalities, in my experience. I use these symbolic languages as ways of helping people connect with the universe, explore why they came into this life, and how to be in alignment with themselves.

My worldview is heavily influenced by systems theory, and I’ve always been oriented toward a social justice framework.

I’m a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), which means I have a form of neurodivergence called Sensory Processing Sensitivity. Most of my clients also fall into this category. Basically that means I’m a deep thinker and a deep feeler.
