My Approach to Helping

Psychotherapy is an art as well as a science. My work involves helping people overcome barriers and achieve a healthy balance in their lives. These barriers may be difficult or traumatic past experiences, challenging relationships, or internal struggles like depression and anxiety. I start with forming a trusting and genuine therapy relationship in which my patients feel heard, understood, and accepted for who they are. I then conduct a thorough assessment and collaboratively develop real, achievable goals based on the patient's personal values. I use the most up to date evidence-based treatments to build on the strengths and skills my patients already have. We confront serious, sometimes painful issues while not losing sight of the beauty and humor in life.

I would love to hear your story. You matter. Call to schedule an appointment soon!
