She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Loyola University Chicago and her Master’s of Social Work degree at Governor’s State University. Jessica’s vast clinical experience working in both private practice and inpatient psychiatric settings has provided her with the knowledge to work with a wide range of ages and diagnoses.
Jessica specializes in working with individuals and families experiencing life transitions, relational stress, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and behavior problems. Jessica believes that it is extremely important to tailor each treatment plan to the individual with the center of her approach being warmth, empowerment, and empathy.
When working with children, she utilizes a combination of play therapy, art therapy, and talk therapy combined with family sessions and parental training to assist the child in healing and to gain healthy coping skills that can be used throughout their life. When working with adolescents and adults, Jessica utilizes multiple treatment modalities including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy for the individual to gain knowledge of themselves, improve their coping skills, and strengthen their ability to live their life at the optimal level of wellness.
Jessica currently provides services via telehealth as well as in-office.
