Jacobs Counseling Services, LLC, is a private telehealth practice I began in 2020, offering individual and couples therapy services accessible to you from the comfort of your own homes.

I am a psychotherapist based out of the Denver Metro area (credentialed through DORA) and a DVOMB Full-Operating Level Approved Provider in the state of CO. I have extensive experience working with addiction and dual diagnosis populations in various levels settings of treatment. In addition, I bring 11+ years of personal recovery to my work and, where appropriate, integrate it into my evidence-based practices and therapeutic approach. My theoretical orientation is eclectic and is generally comprised of a foundation in cognitive-behavioral therapy with a mix of other therapeutic modalities (i.e. solution-focused, family systems, motivational enhancement, rational-emotive behavioral therapies, among others) tailored to your specific needs and preferences.

I provide education, skill-building, process, and support to those battling addiction substance abuse, and co-occurring mental health concerns. In addition, I am a qualified provider of forensic services within domestic violence or intimate partner abuse populations, among others. Above all, I strive to provide a supportive setting free from judgment.
