My Approach to Helping

My approach is integrative, intersectional, developmental, and contextual with a basic belief in the value of connection and the power of possibility. My work pulls from Intersectionality, Queer Theory, Relational-Cultural, Relational Science, and Feminist principles, focusing on therapy relationships being grounded in mutual respect and a sense of shared purpose that provides movement toward clarity, growth, and potential. I understand that we are heavily shaped by our relationships, family experiences, and positionality in the social world with regard to race, culture, class, gender identity, sexuality, etc. My practice is currently relationship-focused and I've deepened my lens to include training in the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, in addition to past experience with Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, IMAGO, and Gottman Method. I am only accepting couples andor intimate structures at this time and I offer a video sessions only.

More Info About My Practice

I see my role as your partner in holistic healing, and so I do not work from the traditional medical model where problems addressed in therapy are viewed as pathology. It is my deep privilege to offer your relationship the caring and honest space it deserves to reflect, explore, and create meaningful growth and expansion.
