My Approach to Helping
I love helping others on their journey of healing and personal growth. Whether you are wanting to work through a crises or feeling overwhelmed and seeking clarity, finding a compassionate therapist that works along with you is key. My therapy process starts from a strength-based perspective utilizing proven strategies (CBT mindfulness techniques) that can help alleviate what is most troubling for you. I have experience working with diverse backgrounds and ages in mental health. I am very passionate about helping people discover and tap into their strengths and regain hope in healing and living their best lives.
My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, chronic Illness, grief and loss, anxietydepression, stress management and crises intervention. I love to empower individuals of all ages and work on issues through the life cycle and transitions such as adjustment, parenting, divorce, trauma and self-esteem.
Going to therapy can truly change the course of one's life. Life certainly can be challenging at times & coping can be difficult. But it also can be empowering to learn how to cope and thrive despite the obstacles one encounters. I find it a privilege working with others on their journey.
