My Approach to Helping

You are able to function through the day, but are you truly thriving? We have all been hit with a barrage of disasters and societal woes over the past few years. You are not alone in feeling like life has been a continuous struggle. However, you suspect that you could be coping better. Your thoughts feel out of control at times, and you never seem to run out of things to worry about. It's been a struggle to be present in your daily tasks, and you have trouble finding anything more than fleeting joy. There are times when you feel powerless and conflicted. You wonder at times, "Is it possible for life to be better than this?"

I believe that we all have the potential to be living more well-adjusted, balanced, and peaceful lives. We just need to find the right resources. I would love to help you live your best life. My approach to therapy can help with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, depression, cultural and racial issues, life transitions, and other emotional issues. I utilize different therapeutic techniques to change unhealthy thinking patterns and behaviors, resolve inner conflict, and bring clarity to your values and goals.

My goal as a therapist is to help you become an expert on YOU. That means knowing how different things affect you and learning the best ways to cope. We can work towards this goal by building insight and figuring out which coping skills and therapeutic techniques are right for you.
