My Approach to Helping

Have you been feeling restless or irritable lately? Not sleeping well or concentrating on tasks at hand? Are you struggling with recent trauma, relapse, grief, or loss? Are you looking for a welcoming and inclusive therapist? Do you want someone who understands the unique challenges LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, and people with marginalized identities face today? Are you searching for a kink and poly knowledgeable, sex-positive therapist? I get it. I help people feel less anxious and depressed.

More Info About My Practice

My dual licensure in addictions and mental health counseling means that I have the expertise to help with many of the issues that may arise – be it addiction or anxiety, depression or self-esteem, trauma or abuse, racism or discrimination.
I'm an affirming therapist here for you to bring whatever issues you really have to the table. I am certified in dialectical behavior therapy and a certified clinical telemental health provider with years of experience working with diverse populations.
I'm here for all identities in all bodies. I am here for you!

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

You're sitting there, hoping that the therapist across from you truly understands. You want to finally talk about your real feelings or issues, but you're afraid to say anything when the time comes. Instead of being vulnerable and open, you feel shame, guilt, fear, and anger at yourself. The topics stay comfortable, time drags on. Maybe you go back or maybe you don't. It's so hard, wanting to talk to a therapist about what is actually going on, but afraid to mention it because what if they don't understand. Or what if they make you feel worse! Especially if parts of your identity are not a problem for you. I get it because I've been there.

You don't have to talk around your truth anymore. I'm here to teach you the specific skills which may help you improve relationships, manage your emotions, handle stress, and increase your sense of inner calm, all while respecting your identity, your preferences, your culture, and your values.
