I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 19 yrs of experience in the counseling field. I have worked with an array of clients with depression, mood disorders, stressanxiety, conduct disorders, substance abuse disorders, and more. I have worked in the capacity of a direct clinical service provider and manager for the MHSA residential program for the majority of my career. I ventured out expanding my specialties to direct individual client services in 2017.

My counseling career has allowed to me cross paths with some unique individuals in helping them to re-focus and find the courage to rebuild broken areas in their lives. I have worked with individuals in one-on-one sessions, Psycho-education Life Skills Group Process, Anger Management Training, Problem-Solving Group Process, Parenting Education Sessions, Seeking Safety ( Trauma ) Session, and SelfRe-Discovery Groups. I have experience working with adults and adolescents with MHSA concerns.

My primary counseling approach is client-centered. However, I am trained in many other modalities that include: CBT, DBT, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused, Trauma-Informed, Motivational Interviewing, and others. I believe each person has the ability to work through their crisis, but needs help and reassurance that they can.
