My Approach to Helping
As humans we are built for connection and have a biological need to feel loved, understood, accepted and secure. When these key ingredients are missing from our most important relationships, it can be isolating and may lead to feelings of anxiety, loneliness, frustration or even resentment. If you find yourself struggling with such feelings, therapy can help you learn the necessary skills to reduce relationship tension and improve communication in your relationships (romantic, friends, family or even at work). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in behavioral, emotional and communication difficulties. Traumatic experiences are a common reason one might be seeking therapy. Whether big or little, singular or long-term, these experiences impact our closest relationships and can interfere with daily functioning. It may feel like it will never get better, but there is always help. My goal is to help you discover your inner strength to attain what fulfills you.
