My Approach to Helping
Adele Stavropoulos is a warm and empathic clinical psychologist who helps clients navigate their emotions and develop stronger relationships with themselves and others.
Adele works with adults, adolescents and children of all ages across Parramatta and Western Sydney to help them achieve meaningful and lasting change. She has a specific interest in working with families to overcome emotional and behavioural challenges and enrich family bonds.
Adele’s genuine and compassionate style allows her to create a safe, relaxed, and non-judgmental space where clients feel understood, seen, and heard. She takes a collaborative and caring approach to develop tailored evidence-based treatment plans that give her clients greater self-awareness and empower them to heal and grow.
Adele launched Western Sydney Clinical Psychology in Parramatta after years of clinical experience working across public and private hospitals, university and research clinics, private practice, and an NGO. She is an internationally published researcher; her cutting-edge work in the use of imagery rescripting to help people process distressing memories delivered excellent clinical outcomes.
Adele holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology and is currently in the final stages of a PhD. She is an endorsed clinical psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
